If we haven’t met yet, HEY! I’m Kaitlyn. Born, raised, and making the best of the Midwest in the Bismarck/Mandan area. I’m not a lukewarm person in general; I can do small talk, but I’d much rather hear your testimony: what lights you up, what you’ve walked through, and the things that make you, YOU. And no matter how hard I try, you'll never be the only one talking; I just love a good chat!

Jesus isn’t just a part of my story. He is my story. He’s my Savior, the Lord of my life, and the entire reason I do what I do. The heart behind this business, the way I love people, the meaning I find in bypassed moments, the joy I get from nurturing and capturing connection, all come from Him.

I’m a sentimental soul at heart, and I can find purpose in pretty much everything and absolutely will. That’s why photography is so special to me. Freezing a moment that shows your true personality, connection, and emotion feels sacred, and I hold that honor so close to my heart.

 Even though my job is capturing your expressions, I promise my face will be working overtime behind the camera. I can't help it, so I lean into it at this point, Lol. What I create is my attempt to honor what I love most: being human in all its real, messy, beautiful moments — and glorifying the creator who designed every one of them.

In my day-to-day life, between shoots, editing, and admin work, I'm a full-time respite caregiver, homeschool tutor, and prayer warrior (among many other things) to the sweetest 10-year-old girl. That role has taught me so much about patience and celebrating uniqueness that overflows into this business to refine my ability to connect in ways

deeper than I ever thought possible.

The best compliment I ever received in 7th grade that I've thought about and known to be true almost every day for the past 10+ years was that I "bring people out of their shell." I couldn't possibly think of better "jobs" than what I currently do, to be able to do just that. I’ve worn many hats, and the only common thread through every experience has been connecting with people.  Celebrating and documenting His beautiful people, exactly as they are, is where my true joy and purpose are.
